One of these experimental cars shown at this year's show was the Chevrolet "Biscayne". The body was made of fibreglass. The car was powered by a high compression V8 sporting 215hp. The engine was backed by a powerglide automatic transmission. This car stood only 52 1/2 " tall and was 10 inches shorter than the 1955 Chevrolet.
