1961/62  was a new era of design for Chevrolet. Gone was the fins that graced the '59s and '60s. Below you'll see a cut-a-way of the new body style of the 1961 models. the '62s utilized the basic chassis with redesigned sheetmetal hung on it.

Also refined in these years was the Corvair line. With its air cooled engines it becane a popular low priced family car. In 1962 Chevrolet also introduced the Chevy II line.
